Jenny has always had an online portfolio for her artwork. Back in her school days, she had her website devoted to her persona of Jenny No.2, featuring paintings, blogs and zines all revolving around the bathroom mishaps and observations of a young woman trying to comprehend the bathroom rituals of women in the world around her.

After three years of absurd tales, she dwindled her comical story telling to a halt and strayed into the field of graphic design. To keep up with the evolution of her style and work, she was in need of a new site and new URL. She always dreaded typical choices for artists of using first and last names. For a brief period, she used Teague Plantation, but later opted out of that as it worked better for the family website.

After a little bit of thinking, she came up with Gunslinging Housewife. It was catchy, people remembered it, it made her stand out, and most importantly, it captured the essence of who she is as a person... a little bit Betty Crocker, a little bit Davey Crocket.
