EP6 Hearing Protection
I was recently given a pair of EP6 Hearing Protection. Right now they are popular among the automotive world (racers, mechanics, etc.) However, they are starting to make an entry into the world of shooting.
|
 |
Originally they were given a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 16dB, however, after more testing they were found to be at 24dB. Because of their hazardous noise filter, you can wear the hearing protection and minimize the sounds of gunfire while still being able to hear normal conversations. The multi-flanged stem conforms to your ear shape, allowing the plugs to sit securely in place without the need of bulky head sets or cords. This allows the shooter to wear hats or have a low profile which comes in handy with rifle and shotgun shooting. |
Each package contains one right ear (red cap) and one left ear (clear cap) plug in a plastic carrying case with a ball bearing chain that can easily be clipped to your range bag, or if you find yourself shooting often, a belt loop, keychains, or wherever. The ear plugs are made of a soft, hypoallergeninc, medical-grade polymer that do not bulge and become uncomfortable like most standard ear plugs. |

| If you are in the Reno, NV area, you can pick up a pair from The Women's Shooting Academy . They will have a booth at the next Crossroads of the West Gun Show on October 23 and 24 or you can call 775-772-7064 for more information. They are also available online through OpticsPlanet.com. |
