E-Postal Match
By Jenny Teague A great way to practice shooting is to try something different to get your mind out of the usual staring at the center of a bullseye and learning how to approach different situations. So this month, I provide you with a different tip, or rather, a practice game. This month I am going to do an e-postal match. The theme? April Showers Bring May Flowers. You see, I am done with snow. I am done with rain. I want it to be spring with nice weather. The Rules: Download and print out the April Showers Bring May Flowers PDF target. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader you can download it free from www.adobe.com. Shoot the rain drop falling towards the ground. After, shoot the other rain drops and finally, break up the rain clouds. You have ten shots to shoot each target. When you're done, mark your score and send a photo of your target and I'll give you bragging rights on my site for the best score in each division. Additionally, I will list all the scores in order so you know where you stand. Division 1: Rimfire Pistol - shoot at 15 feet Division 2: Centerfire Pistol - shoot at 15 feet Division 3: Open All - Any rimfire or centerfire pistol with optical and/or performance modifications - shoot at 21 feet Division 4: Rimfire Rifle - shoot at 25 yards Division 5: Centerfire Rifle - shoot at 25 yards Division 6: Open All Rifles - any rimfire or centerfire rifle with optical and/or performance modifications - shoot at 50 yards Again, there's no fancy prizes. Just bragging rights and photos of your results on the site. Have fun and happy shooting!
